Meet Vivienne Cunningham-Smith

Chief Executive Officer

Vivienne has over thirty years’ experience in the human services sector having worked at executive level in child and family and primary health services in both Victoria and New South Wales. This knowledge, passion for social inclusion and strong strategic planning have seen Viv place EV at the forefront of the organisational development required to become a backbone organisation across the community sector. Viv is generous in her time and enjoys mentoring other community leaders towards good outcomes....

With a passion for advocacy, she is an active voice into all levels of government and sectors.  Viv believes in the value of fully integrated workforces and has led EV to be a strong example of the economic and social benefits of inclusive workplaces.

Meet Charles Cox

Manager Corporate Services

Charles’ brings to EV a range of skills and experience developed over a corporate career in operations management, systems management, and project management. He enjoys innovation and finding new and efficient ways of helping EV to support its clients and communities. Charles is committed to being a part of the continued growth and evolution of EV, for the benefit of our people, clients, and stakeholders.

Meet Elizabeth McFarlin

Manager Transport Operations

Elizabeth (Liz) has over 20 years’ of experience in the aged care and disability sectors, having recently managed a large range of CHSP in-home aged care services across the South Metropolitan region of Melbourne.

Following her tertiary and postgraduate study in Psychology and Public Health, Liz moved into research and operational service delivery roles with NDIS Local Area Coordination, the Metropolitan Ambulance Service, and Deakin University School of Health and Social Development. Liz has a special interest in healthy ageing and human behaviour.

At home, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, and her Border Collie Stevie.

Meet Shona Bass

Manager Community and Economic Engagement

Dr Shona Bass is the Manager, Community and Economic Engagement Services for EV Strengthening Communities and is passionate and committed to leading organisations and multi-disciplined teams to optimise strategic growth and sustainability. She has been instrumental in fostering positive work cultures to achieve business objectives utilising an emotional intelligence model. Shona draws on expertise and intuition developed over thirty years of leadership... roles across small business, universities, For-Purpose and sporting organizations.  Shona is a trailblazer, proudly wearing the mantle of an ‘Original Matilda” – as a player in the inaugural Australian National Women’s Soccer Team. Shona has been Professor and Head of School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, Deakin University and has sat on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) - Women in Sport. Shona was a Chief Investigator of the Victorian Government funded Emerging Stronger Research exploring how to optimize volunteer engagement from both a volunteer and VIO perspective.

Meet Vik Naidu

General Manager Early Years

Vik has over 25 years’ experience in Senior Executive and Financial Management roles across a wide range of sectors including Early Years, Community Services, and multi-national organisations.

An accomplished Business and Finance professional, he has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals in highly competitive and not for profit sectors. With sound technical and business qualifications and an impressive track record in leading organisations, Vik successfully restructured and expanded a medium-sized not for profit Early Years Management organisation in the Eastern Suburbs.

Vik will use his Early Years sector knowledge and expertise in developing EV Early Years Manager to deliver on the outcomes for children and families.

In the spirit of reconciliation, EV acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners of the land and pays respect to its elders past and present.
